Empowering Business Spirit

The Empowering Business Spirit Initiative Is…

…A Mission
We are a network of business-serving organizations committed to making Northern New Mexico the perfect place to start and grow a business.

…A Network of mostly free Biz Services
We are a collaborative of business assistance organizations, lenders and educational institutions committed to providing easy access to free services and for potential and practicing entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship and financial literacy education for youth and adults, and outstanding information on the importance of small businesses to the economic health of Northern New Mexico for regional policymakers.

…Committed to our Children’s Future
Youth are the future of our entrepreneurial environment. ENLACE (Engaging Latino Communities for Education) is leading the Empowering Business Spirit “EBS” Initiative’s youth entrepreneurship programming. Activities include entrepreneurship training curriculum offered in after school venues; a coordinated effort among EBS Partners to nurture youth-based small business and public policy development; and cross-generational mentoring exposing youth to real world experience.

Quality information and policy recommendations are key to creating a small business friendly environment.
